Brooklyn Community Board 3
Clifton Place sits in Bedford-Stuyvesant, covered by Brooklyn Community Board 3 (CB3), whose district runs from Classon Avenue (west) to Saratoga Avenue (east), and Flushing Avenue/Broadway (north) to Atlantic Avenue (south).
Brooklyn Community Board 3 — 1360 Fulton Street, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11216. Phone 718-622-6601. Email bk03@cb.nyc.gov.
CB3 doesn’t require a block to register or get approved to form a block association — it’s voluntary. CB3 does publish a Block Association Start-Up Package (officer roles, sample bylaws, meeting cadence) and keeps a Block Association Officer Information Form on file so associations get onto CB3’s contact list and district meeting invites. CB3’s one hard rule: stay out of partisan politics, no candidate endorsements.
